Kelly is an award-winning writer, director and producer for film and live performance.

Her work has been shortlisted for the Australian Writers’ Guild John Hinde Award and showcased in St Kilda Film Festival, Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival and the Sydney Fringe Festival. 

Kelly explores isolation, female empowerment, identity and mental health; utilising surreal and fantastical settings and often the lens of dark comedy to bring these themes to the fore in an entertaining way.

She has worked with companies including EndemolShine Australia and Curio Pictures, helping to bring their stories to life in the script department for shows such as NCIS: Sydney and Playing Gracie Darling.
