Ash and Bass are trapped in a dead-end fruit shop job, their lives a messy blend of anxiety and existential uncertainty with abusive customers, a sexist boss, obnoxious exes and no prospects. Ash is bored and directionless, but at least she has her best friend, Bass, a wild child just happy to go with the flow by her side.

When a cataclysmic zombie apocalypse descends, these aimless souls find themselves fighting off dangerous predators and embracing survival in a world gone mad… so nothing new… except now killing undead people you hate has zero consequences! (Doesn’t that sound like the best therapy ever?!) These BFF’s must redefine who they are in a ruleless world, with undead foes lurking around every corner, but at least housing in Sydney has never been so affordable. Will this new world finally see these women thriving? Or will they be just another victim to the wasteland?
